Description

Want a quick and easy dish that’s always a crowd-pleaser? Allow us to introduce you to Kachet Jackson-Henderson’s Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pappardelle, a dish you can whip up in no time with ingredients you can get entirely at Trader Joe’s.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Pappardelle pasta
1 lb of shrimp
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, divided
1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute, divided
1 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Olive oil
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
  2. Add the shrimp to a bowl along with the garlic, juice of half the lemon, 1 tablespoon 21 Seasoning Salute, and 1 teaspoon salt. Toss to coat the shrimp well and allow to sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
  3. Melt the butter in a skillet set over medium heat until it begins to foam. If you want to keep this a one pan meal, be sure the pan is large enough to hold all the pasta as well.) Add the shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side; transfer cooked shrimp to a plate.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the pan and drizzle with olive oil to taste, the remaining 2 teaspoons of 21 Seasoning Salute, and the red pepper flakes; toss to coat well.
  5. Return the shrimp to the pan, as well, and cook on low for 1 to 2 more minutes to bring all the flavors together. Taste and add more lemon juice if you want. Top with parsley and Parmesan if you like!
