Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Share This:

There are some recipes that use yogurt and only yogurt and others that make use of yogurt to put a fun twist on a classic: this Yogurt Ranch Dressing is the latter.

Keep this recipe in your back pocket for when you don’t have sour cream on hand, you want to make a lower fat version of ranch (you can use low-fat Greek yogurt in this case), or when you want to give your dressing an extra hit of protein. Either way, it’s just as delicious as the original with a unique flavor twist.

Description

Keep this recipe in your back pocket for when you don’t have sour cream on hand, you want to make a lower fat version of ranch (you can use low-fat Greek yogurt in this case), or when you want to give your dressing an extra hit of protein. Either way, it’s just as delicious as the original with a unique flavor twist.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon granulated sugar
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground paprika
1 cup Greek yogurt
⅓ cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Combine the parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, sugar, basil, pepper, and paprika in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Whisk together the Greek yogurt and buttermilk, then mix in the spice mixture. Allow the dressing to sit for 30 minutes before using. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
